"Faces of Tobacco" - Traveling Art Exhibit
The "Faces of Tobacco" traveling art exhibit was created and presented by Tobacco Free Sarpy. It consists of 24 framed photos with poignantly educational plaques depicting various scenarios of tobacco use across our community. The photos serve to educate on how tobacco use can affect people's lives.
The range of photographic subject matter covers the many lost lives due to tobacco-related illnesses and diseases, to the benefits of smoke-free work sites and Zoo policies, to protecting vulnerable children from the dangers of secondhand smoke.
The "Faces of Tobacco" has been hosted by many community organizations such as local hospitals, Sarpy schools, the Nebraska State Capitol, the University of Nebraska at Omaha Library and Alumni Center, Creighton Cardiac Center and more.
Many of the pictures in this exhibit can be found on our home page. You may also contact TFS at (402) 593-3022 or info@tobaccofreesarpy.org to request a CD of the art exhibit or to make reservations. Photos from this exhibit may be utilized by other groups with attribution to Tobacco Free Sarpy and Tobacco Free Nebraska.
This Exhibit is available for display throughout the Sarpy County and the Omaha metro community for no charge.
Funding for the “Faces of Tobacco” Exhibit was provided by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services/Tobacco Free Nebraska program as a result of the Tobacco Settlement Agreement. Photographer, Tiffany B. Love.
